Tommie Wayne Morris, 50, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Friday, November 25, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a truck driver and member of First Church of God.

Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. at Salem Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife; a stepdaughter; two stepsons; father and stepmother; mother; two sisters; a brother; seven grancdhildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ina Morris, 68 of Fort Smith passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 in a local hospital.

She was a retired nurse’s aide at Crawford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Van Buren. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Morris; both parents, Jessie and Nora (Payne) Syrock; one sister, Dollie Lollis; one brother, Edward Syrock.

Graveside service will be at 10 AM Friday November 28, 2014 at Salem Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Alice Powell of Van Buren; two sons, Robert Place, Jr. and John William Place both of Arkoma, OK; four sisters, Minnie Mae Cain of Short, OK, Mildred Sizemore of London, KY, Margaret Gant of Fort Smith, Jessie Ruth Evans of Van Buren; One brothers, Paul David Syrock of Van Buren; Six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
