November 13, 1939 - July 19, 2012
John Charles Hickey, 72, of Van Buren died Thursday, July 19, 2012, in his home.
He was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Alma.
He was a retired iron worker and an Army veteran.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sarah Grove Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel; three daughters, Bonita Bullard of California and Tina Forillo and Connie Tilton, both of Texas; two sons, Larry Hickey of California and Fay Hickey of Texas; two sisters, Jeanette Flippin and Pamela Hickey, both of Van Buren; two brothers, William Hickey of Texas and Clayton Hickey of Natural Dam; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joshua, Timmy and Darrell Hickey and Michael, Lyle and Eric Harris.
