August 28, 1876 - March 8, 1965
George W. Brazzel, 87, of Junction City died Monday. Survivors include: one son, John Brazzel Junction City; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Norris, Junction City, and Mrs. Willie Bazeal, Spearsville, La; two brothers, Jordan Brazzel and Gus Brazzel, both of Fort Worth, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Godwin, Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Dan Margon Baton Rouge, La.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Olive Branch Methodist Church under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Farmerville, La. The body will be taken to the home of John Brazzel Tuesday. (The El Dorado Times - March 9, 1965)
