Hugh Lewers Winfrey, Jr., 76, of Rudy died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, in his home. He was a farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church of Rudy, past president of Crawford County Farm Bureau and Crawford County Farmers Coop board of directors, past member of Crawford County and Alma school boards and an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Newberry Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy; three sons, Raymond of Rudy, Robert of Wytheville, Va., and Patrick of Alma; a sister, Clementine Moore of Rudy; and seven grandchildren.
