Glen Odom Smith, 79, of Alma, AR, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR.
He was born November 13, 1932 in Friona, TX.
He was a self-employed builder and also worked for Rouse Builders in Fort Smith, AR.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Smith of the home; three daughters, Cindy Winborn and her husband James of Alma, AR, Brenda Harmon and her husband Mike of Alma, AR and Glenda Kimes and her husband Jeff of Burlson, TX; two sisters, Wilma Whitener and her husband Howard of Texico, NM and Fern Tharp and her husband Nathan of Texico, NM; two brothers, Dean Smith and his wife Georgiena of Lovington, NM and Billy Smith and his wife Suezy of Vovina, TX; nine grandchildren, Erica Hutchinson, Corey Bray, Sarah Moore, Aaron Bray, Scott Kimes, Alicia Presley, Jay Winborn, Derek Kimes and Zack Harmon; eight grandchildren, Koen, Adeline, Mason, Kenzley, Asher, Ellie, Callie and Graham.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in Alma, AR with burial at Newberry Cemetery in Alma, AR. under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Wanda Jean Smith, 79, of Alma, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 in Fort Smith.
She was born May 29, 1937 in Clovis, NM to the late Clarence and Ila Pearl Griffin.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Alma, and the Alma Home Extension Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Winborn and husband James of Alma, Brenda Smith of Alma, and Glenda Kimes and husband Jeff of Burleson, TX; eight grandchildren, Erica Hutchinson, Cory Bray, Sarah Childers, Aaron Bray, Scott Kimes, Alicia Presley, Jay Winborn, and Derek Kimes; two step-grandchildren, Zach Harmon and Kenra Newton, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Alma with interment to follow at Newberry Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
