January 31, 1909 - January 7, 1998
William "Dutch" Shopfner, 90, of Salinas, Calif., formerly of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, in Salinas.
He was a former employee of Fort Smith Couch and Bedding.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Newberry cemetery in Alma under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
He is survived by three daughters, Carol Cassey of San Jose, Calif., Debby Ochinang of Salinas, and Jodie Sherman of Carmel Valley, Calif.; a son, Johnny of Salinas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
