Max W. Ross, 97, of Van Buren died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Danville.
She was a former employee of Ward's Furniture, a member of Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene and the widow of Leo Ross.
She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Spruill of Oklahoma City, Launita Certain of Elk City, Okla., and Virginia Sooter of Gentry; two sons, Clyde B. Ross of Alma and Earl Ross of Cookson, Okla.; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Dec. 27 at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at New Berry Chapel Cemetery in Alma.
Pallbearers were Andy and Jon Ross, Jason and Joel Boen and Larry Spruill.
