Bob L Ross of Greenwood passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, in a local hospital. He was the former retired Sherriff of Crawford County, a former member of the Fort Smith Police Department, and a GoJo karate Instructor.
Rosary service will be at 10:30 AM and Mass at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 11 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Fort Smith with the Eulogy by Kevin Robinson of Van Buren with burial at the New Berry Chapel Cemetery north of Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Ross of the home; one daughter Mitzi Scherrey and husband Josh of Fort smith; a son Ryan Ross of Washington; two grandchildren Callie and Storm Scherrey of Fort Smith; brother-in-law Dub Dillon and wife Rhonda; and sister-in-law Marilyn Stockburger and husband David .
