CLAUDE ROGERS husband of Marguerite Frances
Claude Rogers, 60 years old, died Sunday morning February 3, 1963 in a Fort Smith hospital from an illness of four weeks.
Mr. Rogers was a Methodist with membership at Newberry Chapel church. He was a member of Alma Mason lodge 735; Western Arkansas Consistory; Fine Springs Order of Eastern Star No. 579; he had served as deputy sheriff in Crawford county; and he was a stockman.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, one daughter, one brother, three sisters, and five grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Newberry Chapel church with the pastor W.T. Watson and Everett Smith in charge.
Burial was in Newberry Chapel Cemetery with a Masonic service beside the grave. Ocker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
