PLaul E. Pollock, 39 years old, Route 2 Alma, died on Friday March 21, 1952 at the Booneville sanatorium after a long illness.
The Funeral service was conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday at Newberry Chapel, with Rev. T.C. Chambliss, Pastor of the Alma Methodist Church, officiating. Rev. Bates Sturdy, chaplain at the santatorium, assisted in the service. Ockers were in charge of burial in Newberry cemetery.
The young man was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the VFW post at Fort Smith. Before his illness he was employed at the scissors factory in Fort Smith.
Surviving relatives are his parents, a sister, and two brothers,.
