Lois Evelyn Montag, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Springdale. She was born June 9, 1925 in Prairie Grove to the late Edgar Guy and Martha Crawley. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Montag; and a brother, Eldon Crawley.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Chiles and husband Gary of Fort Smith, and Linda Ross and husband Stan of Tontitown; a son, Gary Montag and wife Brenda of Rudy; a sister, Joyce Richardson and husband W.B. of Westfork; two sisters-in-law, Grace Terry, and Flossie Montag; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with burial at Newberry Chapel Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Andy Ross, Jon Ross, Raymond Chiles, Jerry Mayer, and Ralph Serrat.
