Bobby Gatlin, 79, of Alma, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 1, 1936 in Rudy, to the late Alfred and Lois Gatlin.
He was a retired dispatcher for Ballentine Produce in Fort Smith, and an avid Airedale supporter. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Gatlin of the home; a daughter, Linda Dickerson and companion Mike Bartels of Alma; a son, Eddie Gatlin and wife Sherry of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren, Erin Young and husband Cody, Alex Dickerson, and Jake Gatlin.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Newberry Chapel United Methodist Church in Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Marcia Sue Gatlin, 79, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Van Buren.
She was born October 11, 1937 in Tulsa to the late J.E. "Dobbie" and Virginia Selby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gatlin.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Dickerson and companion, Mike Bartels of Alma; a son, Eddie Gatlin and wife Sherry of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Erin Young and husband Cody, Alex Dickerson, and Jake Gatlin; and a lifelong best friend, Ruth Coleman.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with a private committal of ashes at Newberry Cemetery in Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
