William Byron Leggett, Jr. age 87 of Monticello, AR died Saturday, April 16th, 2022 at The Greenhouse Cottages in Rison, AR. He was born Thursday, June 28th, 1934 in Warren, AR a son of the late William Byron Leggett, Sr. and Marie Miller Leggett. Byron was owner and operator of Leggett Electrical and Appliance Repair, he served in the Arkansas National Guard with 12 years of service and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a brother Steve Leggett and a sister Sue Wells.

Survivors include his wife whom he married July 8th, 1955, Mildred Laster Leggett. Daughters Lola West and spouse Sammy, Warren, AR and Jana Adcock and spouse Lee, Hot Springs Village, AR. Brothers Tom Leggett, Monticello, AR, Joe Leggett, Arizona, David Leggett, Camden, AR, Pat Leggett, Monticello, AR, Randy Leggett, Tennessee, and a sister Mary Murphy, Bryant, AR. Five grandchildren, Jason (Laura) West, Amanda (Jesse) Pipes, Heather (Anthony) Boykin, Benjamin (Perri) Adcock, Kelsie (Ryan) Hammer and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was 1:00 PM Monday, April 18th at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Matt Overall officiating. Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ben Adcock, Ryan Hammer, Jon Leggett, Anthony Boykin, Jason West and Jesse Pipes.
