September 23, 1904 - September 30, 1967
Noel E. Fine, 63 years old, of 711 North 6 Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, was dead on arrival at a local hospital Saturday, September 30, 1967. A member of the Baptist church, Mr. Fine was night watchman at Weldon Williams and Lick Printing company.
Mr. Fine was born September 23, 1904 at Akins, Oklahoma, the son of Cahrley and Caroline (Hevron) Fine and was a resident of the Fine Springs community until 12 years ago when he moved to Fort Smith to be near his job.
Survivors are a sister, Eunice; three nieces and five nephews, one of whom is Rance Rhodes of Fort Smith an engineer for KFDF radio station in Van Buren and KMAG FM station in Fort Smith.
Funeral service was held in Fentress Mortuary chapel Monday at 2 p.m. with Norman Ferguson, the officiating minister. Burial was in Newberry Chapel cemetery north of Alma.
