SELIGMAN, Mo. - Donnie Payne, 72, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019. He was born to Ellis Payne and Velma Lucille Hopping Payne, June 15, 1946, in Seligman.
He worked for Emerson Electric after 32 years of service.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 51 years, "Kathy" Ayres Payne; two children, Kelly Payne and wife Yvonne of Seligman and Annett McAbee and husband Kevin of Hindsville, Ark.; grandson Anthony Wiltgen of Rogers; two sisters, Janie Rice of Dadeville, Ala., and Jessie McIver and husband Willie of Avoca, Ark.; brother James Payne and wife Becky of Camp Hill, Ala., and many extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Bayless Cemetery in Gateway, Ark., with Pastor Dayton Brattin officiating. There will be a time of fellowship at the Seligman Community Building following the service. Memorials may be made in memory of Donnie Payne to Circle of Life, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, Ark., 72712. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Memories may be shared at stockdale-moodfs.com.
