Glenn Curtis Roberts
11/2/1942 – 1/17/2016
Glenn passed away on January 17 in Battle Mountain Nevada. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Francis W. Roberts and Minnie Pearl Tubbs. Glenn spent his childhood growing up in southwest Missouri. He was an Air Force veteran.
Glenn lived the last 30 years in Elko and Battle Mountain working as an electrical engineer supporting the mining industry. He worked for TIC, Getchell Gold, and retired with Sandvik Inc. He had a wealth of knowledge that he enjoyed sharing with other electricians. He enjoyed working on new, and mine expansion projects at many of the mines in Northern Nevada. He enjoyed sharing numerous life stories with his friends and family.
Glenn is survived by his Wife Gladys Roberts, and her daughters; Golda Coates, Shawn (Dan Thompson), Candy (Wilber Greer) and son Bill McNeeley. His sister; Jean Hunton, brother; Jim Roberts, and children: Curtis Allen, Angela Kay, Tina, Michelle, Pamela, and Mary.
Thanks to a special person and friend till the very end Shawn Cosper. The trials of this life are over. He has won the prize of faith.
Memorial services will be held on January 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Burns Funeral home in Elko, Nevada.
