*When John “Uncle Jerry” Edward Moffitt was born on January 6, 1866, in Georgia, his father, Richard, was 37 and his mother, Francis, was 33. He married Mary "Mollie" Bruden/Bruton/Broton on May 31, 1888. They had five children in 17 years. He died on June 9, 1938, at the age of 72, and was buried in Joy, Arkansas.
Mary "Mollie" Bruden/Bruton/Broton was born on February 26, 1869, in Tennessee. She married John “Uncle Jerry” Edward Moffitt on May 31, 1888. They had five children in 17 years. She died on Mar 18, 1943, at the age of 74, and was buried in Joy, Arkansas.
