Charles Eugene “Gene” Forsyth, 92, of Hot Springs, Arkansas died on Sunday November 18, 2018.
Gene was born in Los Angeles on December 24, 1925 to Kai and Jennie Petersen and later adopted by Charles and Olive Forsyth. Gene had three children; Jessica, Michael & Trina by his first wife, Dolores. After she died, he married Margaret Shaw and they just celebrated their 49th Anniversary in September.
Gene produced 92 stage shows at Hot Springs’ Pocket Community Theater. Gene loved meeting and greeting people and spreading joy and cheer everywhere he went. He was super inquisitive and always tried to figure out how everything works—he was an engineer by profession.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dolores Forsyth; daughter, Jessica and son, Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Trina Beville; daughter-in-law, Robin Wenz; grandchildren, Gabby Beville, Angela Yonkich, Michael Wenz, and Danielle Petersen, and seven great grandchildren.
