Henson Cole “Pockets”, 90 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in a local hospital.

He was retired from Rheem Manufacturing Company in Fort Smith, also a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazerene in Fort Smith.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Merle and Lillie (Henson) Cole; two sisters, Carmel Adams and Joyce Treat.

Funeral service will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Newberry Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Flora (Evans) of the home; two daughters, Linda Parker and husband, Roger of Rudy, Lisa Wissman and husband, Perry of Lavaca; one son, Ronald Cole and wife, Phyllis of Fort Smith; five sisters, Frances Roe of Mulberry, Sue Dowd of Texarkana, TX, Pam Hudson and husband, Wallace of Batesville, Marcia Mirra and husband, John of Gulf Breeze, FL, Merle Ann Stovall of Mountain Home; four brothers, Bobby Cole and Billy Cole and wife, Betty all of Alma, Tommy Cole and wife, Doreen of Tulsa and Jesse Cole of Mulberry; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Leo Boozman, Claude Ratcliff, Ides Evans, Wallace Hudson, John Mirra and Donny Evans.
