Rachel - December 25, 1890 - August 4, 1962
Fordyce - Mrs. Rachel Culbreath Butler, aged 71, of Sparkman, widow of Roy Butler, died Saturday at her home. Survivors include two sons, Joe A. Butler and Fred H. Butler, both of Camden, three daughters, Mrs. Billy Gordon and Mrs. Wallace Gordon, both of Sparkman, and Floyd Daniel of Camden; a brother, Ed Culbreath of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Eva Givens of Sparkman, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sardis Church by Rev. Robert Jackson. Burial was at Sardis cemetery by Benton Funeral Service. (Camden News - August 10, 1962)
