David Byron Wehrman, 74 of Hot Springs, Arkansas transitioned to his eternal life to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, November 1, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Newton, IA, he was the first son of Byron and Wilma Wehrman and was preceded in death by both parents and his beloved step-mother Fay (Westerman) Wehrman. He was a member of Cones Road Missionary Baptist Church where his most beloved times were spent serving the Lord. He was always ready to lend a hand and had a giving heart. He was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He began working as an architect draftsman for Smith Blueprint Company which later became Affiliated Engineers in Hot Springs and continued to work for 44 years before retirement. He loved life, cherished his family and always loved to fish with his grandkids, go to deer camp and play cards.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Joyce Wehrman of 24 years and his four children; Terry (Robin) Wehrman of Hot Springs, AR, Michael Lindsey of Hope, AR, Michelle (Joe) Irvin of Commerce City, CO and Melanie (Al) Aquino of Maumelle, AR. Also, siblings Larry (Connie) Wehrman of Hot Springs, AR and Judy (Frank) Blake of Hot Springs, AR. Twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, November 7th at 11:00 am at Cones Road Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, November 6th from 6pm-8pm at HS Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Young, James Wehrman, Jarrod Wehrman, Justin Lindsey, Steven Lindsey and Josh Irvin.
