Velma Kidd Stockton, 87, of Alma, AR passed away on Saturday December 24, 2011 in a local nursing home.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Stockton; one daughter, Margaret L. Jones; two sons, Calvin and Oscar Lee Stockton; two sisters, Thelma Miller and Illie Mae Jones; three brothers, Herbert, Arlin and Daylene Kidd.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma Chapel with burial in Bolton Cemetery north of Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by one son, Leon Stockton of Alma; one sister, Ethel Watson of Oklahoma; two brothers, J.T. Kidd of Shamrock, TX and Finis Kidd of Paris, AR; sixteen grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren and thirty-four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Ramsey, Douglas Wilhite, Blake Flurry, Dylan Flurry Timothy Jones, Brandon and Justin Stockton, Levi Householder and Johua Longest.
Pastor Roger Phillips will officiate the service.
