Robert M. Ray, 56 years old, Route 3, Alma, Arkansas died Thursday morning, August 3, 1967 at his home. The son of J. W. and Evy (Rochelle) Ray, Mr. Ray was born February 23, 1911 in Cleveland, Tennessee and had been a resident of Alma for 40 years. He was a member of the Baptist church and a retired carpenter.
Survivors were his wife, Gusty; a daughter, Joan Ann of Charleston, S. C; a brother of Alma; a sister, Mrs. Connor of Vernon, Texas.
Funeral service was held Saturday at 10 a. m. at Dean Springs Baptist church with Lester Nye officiating. Burial was in Bolton cemetery was directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
