Funeral services for Mrs. Chapel Vaughan, 70 of 132 Grinstead St., will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Proctor's Chapel. Mrs. Vaughan, a resident of Camden, for the past 43 years, died Sunday night in a local hospital. She was a Baptist. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lee Thomas, Jr., and Mrs. D. S. Harrington of Camden, Mrs. R. S. McAdoo of Annona, Texas, and Mrs. Marion Pennington of Bearden; seven sons, Alfous, J.T., Robert, Russell, Curtis and Larry Vaughan all of Camden and Calvin Vaughan of Algonquin, Ill.; two half-brothers, Russell Gatling, Warren and Archie Gatling of Star City; one sister, Mrs. Bill Trusdell of Lancaster, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. (Camden News - November 9, 1970)
