RALSTON, Amanda - Mrs. Amanda Ralston entered into rest April 9, 1896 after a long and painful illness of five years. She had suffered constantly for that time. She was afflicted with rheumatism. She was very patient during all her suffering, was never heard to murmur. The last three months her disease assumed the form of consumption. She was confined to her bed constantly. She was a consistent christian, an example of purity, being naturally of a very amiable and cheerful disposition. She made a host of friends. She was a kind and loving wife, a tender mother, a devoted friend. She leaves a husband and a little son four years old with a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. Her funeral arrangements were all made by herself which were conducted by Rev. Marston after which her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Elm Springs. A Friend.
