SPRINGDALE — Virginia Shastid, 77, of Springdale died April 30, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born June 20, 1928, in Elm Springs to David M. and Ethel Burch Fair. She had worked for attorney Ulys Lovell for many years and later worked at the Washington County Abstract Co. in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Shastid.
Survivors include two nieces, Joanne Dodge of Little Rock and Joyce Thompson of Jonesboro; nine grandnieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Elm Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
