*When Josephine Tennessee Crockett was born on November 11, 1856, her father, Jacob, was 40, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 36. She married Joseph Horton on March 7, 1875, in Clinton, Arkansas. They had 11 children in 24 years. She died on January 10, 1935, in Joy, Arkansas, at the age of 78, and was buried there.
