Daughter of Richard & Mary Lansdown Collins. Immigrated to the US in 1855 with Mother & siblings following her father's death in 1850. She married John Newton Sloan in McDonough Co., IL 20 April 1856. Parents of: Mary M Sloan, Ida Ann Sloan Edder, Alphonso Brooks Sloan (Twin), Algenon M. Sloan (Twin), Lizzie Jane Sloan Woodruff, Adalaide M Sloan Stewart,Clara B Sloan (Twin), Clarence N. Sloan (Twin), James C. Sloan, Minnie M Sloan Atwood, & Myrtle C Sloan Shepherd.
