MOUNTAINBURG - Jack D. Simco, 87, of Mountainburg died Monday, June 21, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1923, in Mountainburg. He was a retired self-employed carpenter, a member and deacon of Pigeon Creek Baptist Church and the widower of Faye Simco.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Bidville Cemetery in Crawford County under the direction of Ocker of Alma Funeral Home.
He is survived by a son, John Simco of Mountainburg; three brothers, Pete Simco of Mountainburg and Tom Frank and Joe Simco, both of Springdale; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Lanier France, Rock Rodebush, Richard and Mike Harrison, Ernie Cole and Terry Sill.
