BENTONVLLLE — JoAnn McCool, 71 of Bentonville died Thursday, April 27, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born May 6, 1945, at Seligman, Mo., to Jess Columbus Corn and Lillie May Horn Corn.
In 1963, she graduated from South West High School in Washburn, and married Sherman McCool June 7, 1963. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Delaina Saylor, four brothers Ellis, L.B., Eugene and Bill Corn.
Survivors are her husband, Sherman McCool of the home; two daughters, Deborah Palarino (Nicholas) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Deidre Hendricks of Rogers; one brother, John Corn (Joann) of Seligman; four sisters, Dovie Mathis (Hank) of Butterfield, Mo., Vela Hall and Doris Eggleston, both of Washburn, and Elsie Hignite (Frank) of Rogers; six grandchildren Riley Vanlaningham, Lauren & Nathan Palarino, Hunter and Lilly Hendricks, and Austin Saylor.
Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Pea Ridge Cemetery. No visitation. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.

PEA RIDGE — Sherman L. McCool, 78, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, in Pea Ridge, Ark. He was born in Benton County, Ark., on Aug. 17, 1942, to the late Sterlon I. McCool and Wanda Goodnight McCool.
Mr. McCool graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1960. He settled and raised his family surrounded by friends in the community. He worked for Bob Maloney Ford until he retired.
He most enjoyed his grandchildren and the Razorbacks. He attended Whittenburg Church in Pineville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by wife JoAnn Corn McCool, daughter Delaina Saylor and brother Evan McCool.
He is survived by daughters Deborah Palarino (Nicholas) of Colorado Springs and Deidre Hendricks of Rogers; grandchildren Riley Vanlaningham of Pea Ridge, Lauren and Nathan Palarino of Colorado Springs, Hunter and Lily Hendricks of Rogers, and Austin Jared Saylor of Centerton; and sister Barbara Decker of Garfield.
Visitation is at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
