Roy Odell Pense, 85, of Winfrey Valley died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was a retired farmer and cattle rancher, an Army veteran and member of Winfrey Valley Tabernacle Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Ellen Drummond Pense; two sons, Roy and Mark Pense, both of Winfrey Valley; a sister, Marine (Penny)Rutheroford of Fayetteville, Ar.; Five grandchildren, Joshua Pense and wife, Jennifer, Bradley Pense, Caleb(Ben)Pense,Cody Pense and wife, Renee, and Kayla Pense and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Roger Odell Pense; two daughters Rhonda and Starla Pense.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma with burial at Bidville Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Gary Boen, Alan Sims, Gerald Provence, Brian Drummond, Tim Robison and John W.Pense.Honorary pallbearers; Randall Shepherd, Lonnie Jennings, Virgil Anglin, Ervin Boen, Lee Hannah, arold Sims, Paul Furr, Don Rutherford and Doug Nash.

Sarah Ellen Pense, 86, of Winslow (Winfrey Valley), AR passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, a member of the Winfrey Valley Tabernacle and the widow of Roy Odell Pense. She was born September 17, 1927 in Bidville, AR to the late Dan and Edna (Shepherd) Drummond and also preceded in death by a son, Roger Pense; two sisters, Kathy Funn and Betty Threadgill and one brother, LeRoy Drummond.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Bidville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, December 27, 2013 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include two sons, Roy A. Pense and wife Valerie and Mark Laneal Pense and wife Shalane all of Winfrey Valley, AR; four sisters, Voleta Hannah of Fort Smith, Irene Sims of Elk City, Kansas, Ernestine Boen of Springdale and Thelma Raye Anglin of MO; 5 grandchildren Bradley, Joshua and wife Jennifer, Caleb, Cody and wife Renee and Kayla Pense and twin great grandsons, Asher and Ender Pense.
