He was the son of Ed and Laura Mullen, A Navy veteran of World War II and served aboard the USS Gregory, he was a chicken and cattle farmer, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Garland Mullen and Elmer Mullen, and one sister Dorthy Mullen Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Myrtle "Brownie" Shepherd Mullen of the home; one son Bruce Mullen of Farmington; two daughters, Susie Bivens and Henryetta Hankins, both of Elkins; one brother,
Wilburn Mullen of Winslow; one sister Jewel Waycaster of Hot Springs; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many friends.
