*When John LaFayette Osborne was born on November 8, 1849, in Alabama, his father, Thomas, was 26 and his mother, Harriet, was 21. He had one son and three daughters with Nancy Jane Lewis between 1876 and 1891. He died on May 1, 1931, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
When Nancy Jane Lewis was born on November 21, 1851, in Henry, Tennessee, her father, Benjamin, was 23, and her mother, Mary, was 25. She had one son and three daughters with John LaFayette Osborne between 1876 and 1891. She died on November 2, 1923, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 71, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
