October 24, 1934 - April 28, 2018
Margaret Ann Dawson Zambrano, 83 of Alicia; passed away April 28, 2018 in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born September 24, 1934 in Portia, daughter of Robert Henderson and Ann Mae Kissee Dawson. She was united in marriage to Antonio (Tony) Zambrano on June 6, 1975. She was a former Nursing Home Administrator, loving mother and housewife. She was a member of the Alicia Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leman, Robert and Jeff Dawson; two sisters, Maxine Wiles and Vina Hobson; one granddaughter, Gloria Schalliol; and a niece, Patty Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Tony of the home; three daughters, Melissa (Rick) Schalliol of Wagoner, OK, Kathy (Steve) Boyd of Hoxie and Jackie Webb of Jacksonville, FL; three step daughters, Ludvina Zambrano of Austin, TX, Martha and Isella Zambrano both of Dallas, TX; two step sons, Luis (Rosie) Zambrano of Del Rio, TX and Leo (Elva) Zambrano of Hondo, TX; ten grandchildren, Nena Sumner, Donna Taylor, Rocky and K.C. Schalliol, Mary Boyd, Stephanie Wallis, Candis Barker, Stephen Boyd Jr., Christopher Tutton and Keith Hayes; four step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Davis of Spring Hill; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. David Emery and Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Boyd Jr., Rocky Schalliol, Christopher Tutton, Keith Hayes, Jacob Taylor and Sebastian Irvin.
Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
