*When Pope Henry Davenport was born on April 28, 1899, in McRae, Arkansas, his father, Elmore, was 31 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He married Hixie Willie Lewis on September 21, 1919. They had four children during their marriage. He died on November 22, 1958, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
Hixie Willie Lewis was born on December 13, 1900, in McRae, Arkansas, the daughter of Elnora and Leland. She married Pope Henry Davenport on September 21, 1919. They had four children during their marriage. She died on June 14, 1998, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 97, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
