He was borned to Jasper and Floy Bowles Birchfield.
He attended Bidville Community Church, was a Maintenance supervisor for Mountainburg Schools, for 19 years and was a member of Boston Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Clara Birchfield of the home; three daughters, Glenda Smith of Sherman,Texas,Cherie Nichols of Clinton and Teri Case of New Blaine; a son, Mike Birchfield of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Garnett Farris of Greenwood and Thelma Delrossi of New Jersey; a brother Douglas Birchfield of Mountainburg; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Clara M. Birchfield, 83, of Bidville, AR passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home. Clara was born October 14, 1938 in Muldrow, OK to the late Emmet and Lillie (Metheny) King.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Birchfield; a daughter, Ramona Lindsey; sisters, Betty Folsom, Dorothy Brewer and Patsy Marsh and a brother, Jake King.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Bidville Community Church with interment at Bidville Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

She worked for the Mountainburg School District and was a member of the Bidville Community Church.

Survivors include daughters, Glenda Smith of Sherman TX, Cherie Thompson of Clinton, OK and Terie Case of New Blaine, AR; a son, Mike Birchfield and wife Tina of Bidville; a sister, Myron Mader of Pocola, OK; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
