Liesel S Scott, 90, of La Luz, NM and Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born February 24, 1930 in Flein, Heilbronn, Germany. She worked as a CNA for 30 years at Hot Springs Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, James B Scott; her parents, Karl and Freda Greiner; one brother, Heinz; and two sisters, Irmgard and Gertrude.
Survivors include her 6 children: Randy Scott, Barbara and Bruce Coble, Larry and Shelia Scott, Tammy and David Hamilton, Roger and Samantha Scott, and Michael and Dana Scott; 16 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Fritz and Irmgard, and sister, Marta of Germany.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at New Heart Cowboy Church in Alamogordo, New Mexico with Pastor Vic officiating.
Internment will be at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, her children have requested donations be made in her memory to New Heart Cowboy Church, P.O. Box 12, Alamogordo, NM 88311.
The family wishes to thank Patsy Barger, Charlotte Dubois, CNP and countless others who loved and cared for her while she lived in New Mexico.
She will be so missed by all those who were ever blessed to share in her life, She gave unconditional love and sacrifice for her entire family. Her example as a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all.
The Scott family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
