Mr. George Reindl, 71, passed away March 22, 2014, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born October 3, 1942 in Germany, son of the late Georg and Ernestine Dobler Reindl. George was a self-employed painter for 13 years in the Chicago area and retired from The Coakley Company, Inc. after 20 years. He also served coffee at Anna’s Corner Café, drove the activity bus for St. John’s Catholic School, was former president of Edelweiss German/American Club and helped delivered flowers for a local florist when needed. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Anna; children: Susanne (Robert) Blair of Lewisville, NC, Doris (Kenneth) Kalahiki of Malvern, AR, and Janet (Will) Edgar of Bryant, AR; grandchildren: Christopher, Kayla and Matthew Kalahiki, Nathan Blair, Georgeanna and Evelyn Grace Edgar; brothers, Fritz, Wilhelm, and Heinz Reindl of Germany; sister, Ernestine Reichtalhammer of Germany; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A Rosary will begin at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Crestview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care.
