*When Taylor McAfee was born on July 10, 1876, in Tennessee, his father, William, was 37 and his mother, Sarah, was 29. He married Lear Alice Weatherford and they had six children together. He then married Jessee Sattewhite on January 7, 1939, in Arkansas. He died in March 1968 in Rose Bud, Arkansas, at the age of 91.
When Lear Alice Weatherford was born on November 8, 1879, in Hardin, Tennessee, her father, John, was 30, and her mother, Charity, was 19. She married Taylor McAfee on November 10, 1895. They had six children in 16 years. She died on December 23, 1929, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 50.
