Mr. William Reese Pemberton II, age 32 of Van Horn, previously of Crockett, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Mr. Pemberton was born April 13, 1975 in Beeville, Texas and had lived in Van Horn for the past six months. Mr. Pemberton was employed by Swift Transportation as a truck driver and attended the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father Bill Pemberton and wife Judy, of Crockett; mother Anne Pemberton, of Van Horn; sister Amanda Scheller and husband Rich, of Austin; nieces Allison Scheller, Emma Scheller, all of Austin; step-sister Katie Kromer, of Crockett; numerous other relatives.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Barnes and Tommie Ruth Pemberton and James and Fanita Vaught.
Funeral Services for Mr. William Reese Pemberton II were held Friday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Crockett with Dr. Jerry House and the Rev. Jim Tom Ainsworth officiating.
Graveside Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg, Arkansas with the Rev. Justin Allen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 984, Crockett, Texas 75835 or Charity of Choice.
