ROGERS — Jack L. Saxon, 78, died Nov. 27, 2011, at Circle of Life in Bentonville. He was born Nov. 10, 1933, in War Eagle to the late William F. and Amanda Jane (Edmondson) Saxon.

Jack loved to fish, tell stories and hunt. He was a member of the American Legion and was a Naval veteran. He was the former Benton County sheriff.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Jane Saxon of Rogers; son, William "Francis" Saxon of Bella Vista; daughters, April Diana Saxon of Maryland, Bureva Fuller of Hiwasse and Kristy Mae Saxon of Rogers; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Jack is predeceased by his brothers, Gordon and Emmett; sisters, Anna Mae Haley and Burnice Evans.

Visitation will be Wednesday. Nov. 30, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

A graveside funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Austin Cemetery, Best, Ark. A procession will start at noon from the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Legion, 711 W. Persimmon St., Rogers, AR 72756.

Rebecca Jane Saxon, passed away on April 9th 2020. She was born on October 2nd 1937 in Swain, Arkansas to Freeland Thomas and Ruby Victoria Marshall. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Jack Saxon; four sisters; and one brother. Surviving family members include, her sister, of Noel Missouri and brother, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four children, April Saxon of Maryland, Bureva Duncan of Hiwasse, Frank Saxon of Bella Vista, and Kristy Saxon of Rogers, Arkansas; she is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She will be sorely missed by her family.
