ROGERS — Tommie Joe Rust, 77, of Rogers died May 7, 2007, at his home. He was born May 17, 1929, in Logan County to William Earl and Gracie Houge Rust. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ima Lou Rust of the home; three sons, Lonnie Rust of Clarksville, Bobby Joe Rust and Missy of Rogers and Darryl Ray Rust and Pamela of Rogers; one daughter, Diana Gondolfi and John of Rogers; one brother, William Rust of Springdale; three sisters, Clara Underneher of Rogers, Sadiona Greenlee of Rogers and Alice Poolaw of Rogers; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with Lonearl Brown officiating.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Austen Cemetery near War Eagle.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Joe, Darryl Rust, Ricky Rust, Diana Gondolfi; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Robertson, Frances Brown. A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the House of God, Rogers. www.rollinsfuneral.com.
