Tommy Inebnit, Jr., 61, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away in St. Louis, Missouri, September 25, 2015. He was born June 15, 1954, in Helena, Arkansas, to Thomas Earl and Catherine (Reidenbaugh) Inebnit. Tommy (a.k.a “Coach”, “Pop”, “T-Nebs”, and “The Elaine Flash”) was a beloved educator and a radio commentator at Lake Hamilton School District. He taught American History and drove a school bus for 30 years, as well as serving as the color commentator for Wolves football and basketball radio for 25 years. Tommy was a life-long St. Louis Cardinals fan and avid supporter of Lake Hamilton Athletics. One of his greatest attributes would have been his ability to carry a conversation with most anyone. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and just simply talking with others. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Linda Inebnit of Hot Springs; son, Tommy Inebnit, III (Katie) of Vilonia; daughter, Katie Lawrence (Matthew) of Conway; sister, Anna Webster (Lucien) of Elaine; grandchildren, Eli and Hannah Inebnit, Marlee Lawrence; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with O.J. Smith and Bob Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Karl Koonce, John Welch, Brian Bales, Lucien Webster, Rex Turley, and Mike Townsend Honorary Pallbearers include Tommy Owens, Tony Silva, Bill Koen, Wally Turner, Mike Turner, Johnny Turner, Tom Butcher, and Bill Lawhon In lieu of flowers, donations to a memorial fund can be made at Arvest Bank to a Tommy Inebnit savings account. Sincere thanks to Barnes Jewish Hospital (ICU staff), Dr. Fleckenstein, Dr. Martin, Dr. Carrington and staff, Chris Gillenwater, NPMC staff, LifeNet, and many friends and family. Go St. Louis Cardinals and Lake Hamilton Wolves!
