1892 - 1948
Mrs. Grace Small, aged 56 years, wife of Arnold Small of Talco, Texas, died at Ville Platte, Louisiana, hospital Saturday. She was formerly a resident of Camden. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. A. E. Randall of Ferriday, La.; two sons, Eugene and Bunn Jeffus of Heidelberg, Miss.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. S. T. Garner of Camden, and Mrs. W. Z. Renfroe of El Dorado; two brothers, H. A. Anderson of Chidester, and R. H. Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held at the Madison Street Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. today with the Rev. Jack R. Hackworth officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery with Proctor's in charge. Active pallbearers: C. E. Milam, Fred Hollis, A. F. Byrd, Ellord Anders, J. H. Yeager, and Muriel Merritt. Honorary pallbearers: Al Rose, Ritchie Morgan, O. A. Gilleland, T. J. Burroughs, E. O. Garner, D. B. Greening, Will Greening, Jesse Garner, A. B. Quarterman, Dr. S. B. McGill, Dr. J. S. Rinehart, and Dr. C. S. Early. (Camden News - March 1, 1948)
