*When John Russell (Russ) Liles was born on September 27, 1868, his father, Joseph, was 20 and his mother, Martha, was 24. He married Minnie Louise Smith-Liles on December 14, 1890. They had six children in 14 years. He died on March 29, 1924, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 55, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
