George William Sims, 76, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Pointer Trail Health & Rehabilitation in Van Buren.
He was a retired farmer and a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Riley and Mary Eva (Fourthman) Sims; Four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Willhite Sims; two daughters, Velda Friel of Alma, Arkansas and Martha Jones of Mulberry, Arkansas; three sons, Darrell Sims of Collinsville, Oklahoma, David Sims of West Plains, Missouri and Jonathan Sims of Thayer, Missouri; two brothers, Harold Sims of Ash Flat, Missouri and Charles Sims of Elizabethton, TN; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral Service was held Friday October 8th 2010 at 2:00pm at Yoestown Cemetery in Alma with Reverend Michael Price officiating.

Martha Dellaphine Sims, 81, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at a local nursing home.
Martha was born February 1, 1937 in Alma, Arkansas to the late Ivan and Edith (Bell) Willhite.
She was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Tabernacle in Hardy, Arkansas.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Sims; a daughter, Velda Friel and several sisters and brothers.
Services will be graveside 12:00 noon Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Yoestown Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Jones of Mulberry, AR; three sons, Darrel Sims of Collinsville, OK, David Sims and Jonathan Sims both of Mammoth Springs, AR; two brothers, Elton Willhite of Hanford, CA and Ivan Willhite of AZ; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
