*When Mary Jane Ethelene "Jennie" Brooks was born on March 9, 1882, in Arkansas, her father, William, was 29, and her mother, Lucy, was 26. She married Jesse Lafayette Wilson and they had three children together. She then married Coland Charles L "Charley" Thompson and they had one son together. She died on July 7, 1959, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
