**Obituary
Jessie Wooten, 86, of Russellville, died Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 6, 1921, at Pelsor, Arkansas to Jesse N. and Nettie Dunlapp Goswick. Jessie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Russellville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Lawrence Wooten of Russellville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Kathryn Wooten of Dardanelle and Larry Wooten of Russellville; a sister, Audrey May of Russellville; two brothers-in-law, Odell Wooten and James O. Wooten, both of Russellville; a sister-in-law, Joy Weston and her husband, Bud of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Mark Wooten and his wife, Sherry of Plainview, and Jeffrey Wooten of Dardanelle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at the Shinn Chapel with Mr. Ken Morphis officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Dodson, Quinton Dodson, Ronald Trigg, Lloyd Cates, Dan Dennis, and Eddie Carolan.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
The family would like to give special thanks to James O. Wooten, Beverly Wooten, Melissa May and Jody Killins.
