**Obituary
Roland A. Chambliss, 75, of Star City, died Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 13, 1937 in the Mt. Home Community near Star City to the late Charlie and Letha Belle Hamilton Chambliss. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Also preceding him in death were 1 brother, Winfred Chambliss; and 1 sister, Verlia Fullbright. Survivors include his wife of 50 years and 8 days, Linda Sue Calhoun Chambliss of Star City; 2 daughters, Linda Gail Chambliss Lewyn (David) of Charlotte, NC, Mindy Lea Chambliss of Monticello; 2 brothers, Robert Chambliss of Star City, Ed Chambliss of Hot Springs; 1 sister, Charlene Adden of Lincoln, NE; and 3 grandchildren, Zachary Chambliss, Daniel Lewyn, Michael Lewyn. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Bro. Hardy Peacock and Bro. James Calhoun will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope away from Home, 4011 Maryland Ave., Little Rock, AR 72204.
