*When Ada Mae/May McCoy Smith Roberts was born on November 30, 1917, in Faulkner, Arkansas, her father, Thomas, was 33, and her mother, Martha, was 25. She married William (Willie) Edmond Smith and they had three children together. She then married Arlie Pleasant Roberts on September 21, 1956, in Stanislaus, California. She died on August 15, 1998, in Beebe, Arkansas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
